Terms and community rules

These terms govern your use of Beacon of the Throne, a community restroom finder. Please read them together with our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or submit content.

Accounts and responsible use

Member accounts are for adults 18 or older. Use an email you control, protect your password, and tell us if you suspect account misuse. Do not impersonate others, create spam accounts, interfere with security, scrape personal information, or use the service unlawfully.

Community information is not a guarantee

Listings and reviews are supplied by members and can be inaccurate or outdated. We do not guarantee that a bathroom is open, clean, accessible, safe, free, available without a purchase, or available when you arrive. Check opening hours, accessibility, and entry requirements directly with the venue. Follow property-owner rules and posted signs; a listing does not grant permission to enter private property. Directions are supplied by an external map service.

Submissions and reviews

• Add actual bathrooms accessible to visitors; clearly label customer-only or uncertain access.
• Write honest, relevant, firsthand reviews. Do not submit fabricated ratings, misleading locations, harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual content, unlawful material, or advertising.
• Do not identify people using bathrooms or publish private addresses, contact details, medical information, or access codes that you are not authorized to share.
• Submit only material you have permission to use. You keep ownership and give us a nonexclusive permission to store, display, format, and moderate it to operate the service. That permission ends when the content is removed, except for necessary legal/operational retention.

Moderation and reporting

New listings and reviews require approval. We may reject, remove, restore, or restrict contributions and suspend abusive accounts. Use Report or Report review to flag a problem; moderators review reports. Signed-in members may block contributors. For questions about a decision, contact rbmcghan@gmail.com. Do not use reports for harassment or retaliation.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account through Account → Delete account. Your submitted bathrooms, reviews, reports, and blocks are removed; reviews attached to a removed bathroom are also removed. Deletion is not just deactivation and cannot be undone. Other operational records may be retained as described in our privacy policy.

Availability, payments, and health

This version is free and has no active PRO subscription billing. Any future paid offer will disclose prices and terms before you buy. The service may change or be unavailable for maintenance, technical problems, or other reasons. It is not medical advice or an emergency service. To the extent allowed by applicable law, it is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of community content. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
